What is BachaTango?
The BachaTango style is a fusion of the beautiful, sensual Bachata, with a twist of Tango drama. It is danced to a slower Bachata beat with elements of Tango music. BachaTango is here and we have commissioned the 2013 World Bachata Champions, Mitch Bilic and Ellicia McDonald, to deliver a syllabus exclusive to Sweet Azucar! Latin Dance.
Sweet Azucar!’s BachaTango mentors Mitch Bilic and Ellicia McDonald have been taking the world by storm with their unique interpretation of the BachaTango style. In between travelling the world, delivering breathtaking performances and professional dance instruction, Mitch and Ellicia have taken the time to develop an exclusive syllabus and train Sweet Azucar!’s instructors.
Our BachaTango Performance Team performed at the 2014 NZ Salsa Congress and have been invited to perform at next year's Sydney Latin Festival. To check out their performance at the NZ Salsa Congress, CLICK HERE.
