What is CHA CHA CHA?
The Cha Cha Cha is a true Latin dance, which originated in Cuba in the 1940s . The identifiable rhythm in it, is it's triple step in the middle. Enrique Jorrin, a Cuban Violinist created the first cha cha song in 1948. He named it after the shuffling sound the dancers shoes made when they did the triple step.
You can hear the Cha Cha Cha rhythm is may pop culture songs still, as it evokes such fun.
Songs such as "Smooth" by Rob Thomas/Santana, "Lady Marmalade" from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack, "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor, "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" from the Great Gadsby movie, and "I Like the Way You Move" by Party Allstars are all great examples.
